If God Feeds the Sparrows…

Today was a wonderful reminder of the power of God.  Sometimes, things are about His timing and His providence.  So, naturally, I was unaware that I was to be a part of His plan today.

Thrown any books lately?

You know, I truly respect books.  In fact, in Elementary school when they make you sit through that little session about how you are supposed to treat books with care, I paid attention and would tattle on others.  I love books!  But what I don’t love about books is how the author can make you so mad that the first thing you do is just sling the book as hard as you can.

Relapse

Maybe I should have stayed in bed for a week, but because of the funeral, I thought my duties were to my family.  But then, last night as we were receiving friends at the funeral home, I started having problems breathing again and you know what that meant:  another trip to the hospital.

Promises Made

I hate it when I’m reminded of a promise I made at the beginning of the week.  I promised my hubby that I’d finish painting the kitchen this week.  Although, I have to admit there was an ulterior motive for me promising to paint.

Reading Assignment

I thought at one time I had put my foot down.  I said after reading the Harry Potter books that I would never (repeat, NEVER) read another series of books.  I found the whole idea of it excruciating.  It’s hard to wait for a book to come out, but then, it’s hard to just let things go and not know.  But then, it’s hard when an author disappoints by bringing in something unexpected, out of character, and you ask yourself, “Where did that come from?”
