What a Week So Far!

Okay, here goes my weekly recap so far and only because I’m really needing a break from paper writing!  So, logically (of course!), I’m taking a break from writing to write.  Don’t ask, because it makes perfect sense to me and besides, I truly need to empty the mush from my brain before it… well, we won’t go quite that far. ;)

This has definitely been a wild week!  And to think, it is only Wednesday!  So that means that I still have three more days before it is over and I’m wondering exactly what is going to happen by then.

Let’s give a little bit of background first shall we?  How about we start with last Friday, as this is a very important day? View full article »

I realize that it has been awhile since I made a post.  I can hardly believe that I’m so out of practice.  This summer I seemed to have so much to say, but lately, I have much to say, but no time to say it.

My life is busy.  Simple as that, I am busy and I have no time for anything anymore.  Life becomes a myriad of moments that blend into a motley collage of life experiences and lessons.

Of course, lately, it has become a time of discovery and profound observations.

The Lies They Tell

I’m not sure, but I know that someone is lying.  It is hard to be sure who it is exactly, but I know the usual suspects, and the evidence, well it was plain to see.  So, who is lying?

Let us line up the suspects and investigate.  But first, I must present the crime.

I sat down this morning and looked into the mirror as I always do as I’m getting ready.  My son said something rather funny and I couldn’t help but crack a smile.  That’s when I noticed it.  View full article »

Could it Get Worse?

Tuesday’s and Friday’s are by far my busiest days at school.  The reason for this is that my day begins in the morning and ends some time in the afternoon.  It is always non-stop.

Oh, sometimes I find time to check my email in class, but that is only rarely.  So imagine my surprise when I log on right before class and find an email from my professor telling me that he needs to see me immediately and before class!

My first thought was, “He’s not happy with my mid-term grade.”  My second thought was, “He’s going to tell me that because of my age, maybe I’m not cut out for this class and that I can’t keep up with these 19 year olds.”  So I raced downstairs to  his office.

Up For a New Challenge

In light of the fact that lost the last challenge (including Tony Stewart’s name in every post), I have decided to take up a new one.  After asking around amongst my friends (and them knowing how much Biology is on the low end of Like scale), they have decided that due to my sudden interest in spontaneous combustion that I should try to squeeze that into every post.

Hmm?  Spontaneous combustion, huh?

Yep, and to make it legit (I can’t just add it in all Willy-Nilly), the sentence or paragraph or form  that I use it in must be able to be supported by the actual theory and plausibility of all cells releasing all stored ATP at the same time thereby creating a massive explosion resulting in spontaneous combustion.

So, 30 days using Spontaneous Combustion in every post.  Do I dare take up the challenge?

I think I can handle it.  I’m a big girl after all and I think I can be creative enough to use it I every post.  This could be fun…

For those of you who know me, you know I’ll still mention my favorite driver, it just won’t be in every single post. :)
